Housekeeping Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
- Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff to ensure productivity and adherence to company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Handle and resolve any guest complaints related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment to ensure availability and functionality.
- Prepare and manage housekeeping schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in hiring and performance evaluation of housekeeping staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Proficiency with housekeeping management systems and software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality management is a plus.
